CJSF Applications for Membership
Currently accepting for 8th Grade students only at this time.
One of the highest academic honors that students can earn in secondary school is the California Junior Scholarship Federation award. CJSF is a nationwide honor society recognized by companies & institutions, that in some instances, award scholarships. It is an academic membership to which students must apply.
Membership is for the semester following the grade period. There are no retroactive memberships given. Membership must be renewed each semester. In order to earn the official Honor Membership Pin, students must have been a member of CJSF at least three times during their tenure at Kastner.
CJSF Membership Applications are now being accepted only for 8th Grades students. The grades used to apply for this semester membership are from your 2nd semester 7th grade report card for the 19-20 school year.
The last day to submit your application for membership is September 18th, 2020, by 3:00 PM. Use the Google application link below listed "CJSF Google Form Application" to submit your application and to make the online payment for the membership fee.
Charter Rules prohibit us from taking late applications

This year due to Distance Learning, you can pay your membership fee online. It will be $4.00 plus a service fee of .15, or if you prefer, you can mail to:

Applications that are mailed to Kastner must be postmarked no later than 9-18-2020. You can also drop off your membership application and payment in the Lightning Cluster Office at Kastner if this is more convenient for you.
