Uncleared Absences/Truancy Policy: Students will be issued consequences for each truancy or uncleared absence. habitual truancies/uncleared absences may lead to loss of privileges, suspensions, referral to the School Attendance Review Board (SARB), and/or referral to alternative education. Students, who leave class without permission, or leave school without checking out through the Attendance Office will be considered in violation of school/District policy.
Students coming late to school or to classes throughout the day will need to get a tardy pass from the Thunder Cluster. Students coming from a doctor’s appointment or other excused tardy, may proceed directly to the main office. You will be notified if your child is late to class and if there are consequences. Our goal is to maximize the time students are in class safely.
