FREE Central Valley Student eBike rider Training
Central Valley law enforcement and Valley Children’s Hospital are offering a free e-bike training course for children and their parents on Oct. 17 at Bullard High School (5445 N. Palm Ave., Fresno).
eBike and helmet required. A parent or guardian must attend with the rider. Riders will learn hands-on skills and safety reminders, then apply those in real-world scenarios with trained officers during their session.
Choose ONE 2.5-hour session:
Session 1: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Session 2: 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Parent/guardian participation is required in the training to ensure everyone is learning the skills and safety measures around e-bikes.
This isn't just a classroom safety presentation. Riders will receive practical instruction on their own eBikes, learning skills designed to improve control, braking, awareness, decision-making, and safe riding in real-world situations.
The program also covers California eBike laws, rules of the road, and common safety issues law enforcement officers see involving young riders.
